The Unguarded Moment is the featured single for the Almost a Mirror podcast, Episode 5, produced and written by Kirsten Krauth - which focuses on The Church, Countdown, overnight success, jangly guitars and goes deep, deep without a meaning.
It features interviews with Steve Kilbey and Peter Koppes from The Church.

ABOUT AMANDA BROWN
Amanda Brown has been composing music for the screen since graduating from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2000. She has written scores for several feature films including Step Into Paradise, Here Out West, Babyteeth, The Family, Son of a Lion and Look Both Ways. She has a long list of television music credits, most recently drama series RFDS for the Seven Network and The Secrets She Keeps for Channel 10.
In 2020 Amanda won the AACTA Awards for Best Music Score
(Babyteeth) and Best Documentary Score (Brazen Hussies) and in 2019 she won the Soundtrack Stars Critics Award at the Venice Film Festival for Babyteeth. She has released multiple soundtrack albums in addition to an extensive discography of work with a range of artists including silverchair, The Vines, Youth Group and The Church.
Amanda has also had a career as a multi-instrumentalist in several bands. She was a member of The Go-Betweens and has performed with a variety of artists including R.E.M, The Apartments and Toni Collette. She will soon release her first solo album of songs, 8 Guitars.
ABOUT RICHARD ANDREW
As founder of Pharmacy Records, Richard has over the past 20 years, recorded, produced and released numerous artists including, Grand Salvo, Silver Ray, Kim Salmon, Rob Snarski and Princess One Point Five. Having also been fortunate to be a member of Underground Lovers, Black Cab, Crow and Registered Nurse, (just to name a few) Richard approaches the recording process primarily as a musician, giving him unique insight into what a song requires to fulfil the artist’s vision, beyond just technical engineering skills. The Studio is a fun, creative, nurturing and productive space.
